Just got a notice from my parts supplier in Shenzhen.
All businesses in Shenzhen, China's manufacturing hub, are closed effective immediately for an indefinite period. That includes all shipping companies including FedEx. NOTHING is going in or out of the most important manufacturing hub in the world right now, and there is no timeframe on when it may reopen.
Supposedly, this is due to a Coronavirus outbreak. We all know that reason is crap. I suspect the invasion of Taiwan is about to begin. Can't think of any other event big enough to warrant this.
Just thought I would pass along the information in case anyone had any doubts.
Apparently the most optimal time to invade Taiwan begins in April because the seas are very calm.
I'm still skeptical that China can pull off an invasion of an entire country... but I guess we will see soon enough.
If the CCP invades Taiwan, the Three Gorges dam is going to go boom boom boom and millions of mainland Chinese are going to drown.
I’m pretty sure they can’t cover that up.
Taiwan possesses medium range non-nuclear missiles that can accurately target and severely damage the three gorges dam. All they have to do is make a small crack and the pressure from all that water will do the rest of the job destroying the dam.
When the Chinese invade they’re going to get tied up on Taiwan’s beaches and they won’t be able to reach and disable all the Taiwanese missile launch sites.
If the Taiwanese feel like they’re starting to lose they may launch those missiles.
The immense wall of water behind the Three Gorges Dam will quickly go down river drowning millions and wiping out the homes of millions more all the way to Shanghai.
If I was the Taiwanese military what I would do at the first hint of an invasion is launch one of those missiles at a smaller dam on a smaller river.
It would show what the destructive potential of what Taiwan could do with an attack on the Three Gorges Dam.
Knocking out that huge dam would probably be worse than nuking Beijing.
