Technology isn't infallible, GPS systems are not perfect or can lose connectivity. I've heard this area of water isn't terribly deep and a ship this size would need to stick to a very precise path to avoid things. With two ships running around in shallow and narrow waters, if it isn't happenings, it would seem to imply evergreen may have some software issues with their GPS guidance systems. Could have been something that broke in a relatively recent update or something, and they wouldn't know anything is wrong until ships run aground or something else were to go wrong.
Just seems a little conspicQus that two different container ships from the same company ran aground and one of them was doing graphic art before it got stuck! Kek
