Are you saying traits as in personality traits or physical traits (or both &/or others)? Examples of physical differences might be Asians, in general, not having the ability to digest dairy very well or African Americans having a higher prevalence or susceptibility to sickle-cell anemia. Or so I recall. We've been lied to so much on so many topics it's hard to know anymore. Likewise with personality, you could say that descendants of African origin have a love of music and dance, but I'm sure there are many who like quiet and have no "rhythm". Or observe two people talking, one waving their hands and gesturing while the other, modestly dressed, hands folded across their chest, and be told one of them is Italian, the other, say, German. You suppose which is which by observing traits normally ascribed to one group or another.
Are we using the subject of race, here, as an amalgamation of physical aspects and perhaps culturally-influenced personality traits? Are you sticking strictly to physical traits in your reply here? As I said, I haven't yet read the link you provided in depth, but it appears you're saying they address just physical characteristics. As far as the UN's viewpoint change from the 1950's, that's no surprise at all since the beasts that have currently infiltrated every organization change terms to suit their narratives. "Race", however they now choose to define it, is merely a weapon to them used to divide people.
Edit: from Wikipedia (I know, not exactly purveyors of truth)... "... Since the second half of the 20th century, physical anthropologists have switched from a typological understanding of human biological diversity towards a genomic and population-based perspective, and have tended to understand race as a social classification of humans based on phenotype and ancestry as well as cultural factors, as the concept is also understood in the social sciences. ..."
Hint: There is only ONE race. The human race.
What does scripture say? Mankind…no geography or color mentioned.
Um, down there.
And several reptiles...
Very long. I scanned much of it and it's interesting, worth a more detailed read when I have the time. Thanks for the link.

Thanks for the link! Saved for further research.
Some of it makes sense but a lot of it is bull.
Nope.
Not even close.
There are hundreds, maybe even thousands of races.
A race is an extended family, a group of people who tend to have certain traits in common. Because they are related, that's why.
It's safer to consider linguistic groups as cues to start looking at where you might draw the boundaries between races.
Africa alone would have over a thousand languages.
