We already know for sure. Magellan went around it. Ever since then we have been going around it by sea, by air, and by orbit. We have taken pictures from space. The land cannot be mapped over large distances as a flat surface (it is spherically convex). What is there to be "open" to? Ignorance?
The elites win when people begin to question their own eyes and ears and other people...but not their ignorant skeptical dogma.
I ask plenty of questions. And then I get the answer and there is no more doubt. Only an infant asks questions incessantly and never is satisfied with an answer. You cannot take pride in asking questions if you ignore the answers that are obvious all around you.
That all makes sense, but I've seen too much over the past few years to trust it anymore. I've found the people who are most vocally opposed to flat earth are the same "follow the science crowd" who think the vaccine is actually helping people or that the 2020 election was anything close to being legitimate. It seems suspicious to me how much the globe theory is pushed and crammed down our throats throughout all grades of school. There is definitely an agenda there. When I realized how easily people can be brainwashed to believe the most ridiculous things, I realized I can't trust others and have to look into the important things for myself.
Well, get around and meet more people. But it absolutely should not depend on who you talk to. That is falling into the Argument from Authority fallacy. Read the history books and the science books and LEARN. There is no "theory" about a demonstrable fact.
You are doomed---because if you have to question EVERYTHING, there is nothing you will not question....even the correct answers. You will never find correct answers. Which means that the "flat earth" idea is also to be questioned. You have no hiding place, when you get drunk on radical skepticism.
I mean, where does it end? Are you going to question 2 + 2 = 4? Are you going to question whether the Sun rises in the east? Are you going to question if the sky is blue? Are you going to question that your mother is your mother?
As I see it, you have arrived at your position (and it is a position) not from questioning, but from refusing to accept truthful answers. It sounds like plenty of people have given you truthful, trustworthy answers---but you have refused to accept them. Just as you have refused to accept the relevant facts of science (there are plenty, all of which should be convincing). Just as you have refused to accept visual evidence (pictures from space). Just as you have refused to accept the facts of international travel, or the facts of cartography.
You maintain your questions by denying answers and thereby keeping yourself ignorant. That's not a good place to be.
I'll think on what you said, it's a lot to consider. So what do you find credible and what seems to you to be hogwash? Do you believe in vaccine shedding? The election being stolen? Covid 5G? China being controlled by the White Hats?
Earth: is round, move on
Moon: been there, done that, Musk will be next
chemtrails: a perfect case example of paranoia, it's only contrails
9/11: too many moving parts to be a plot, buildings collapse as they must
Vaccine shedding: seems credible, referenced in various places, open mind
Election stolen: essentially a proven fact, needs to be faced and dealt with
5G: a myth indulged in by the ignorant
China being controlled by the white hats: like wolves being controlled by sheep
Ukraine: not the good guy, Putin has all the right enemies

But study your basic history and science.
