Ukraine is most definitely not just a territory of Russia they are keeping from seceding. Ukraine has been a separate sovereign nation since the fall of the USSR. What Russia is doing is technically a military invasion, they've taken their military by force across national borders. Sure, Putin can be fighting the deep state and eliminating threats and all that, but make no mistake that this is a military invasion against another sovereign nation. Did you also buy the bull shit about Korea, Vietnam, dessert storm, etc just being "police actions?"
