The missus was "essential" so I didn't get to spend any extra time with her but the lack of time wasted on commuting and being able to have home-cooked lunches every day was great for me. Plus my pets certainly loved me being around.
One downside though was that all communications going through Teams and such made it harder to have the "off the record" conversations that come in useful for red-pilling coworkers.
glad it was mostly positive for you. yea, my husband never worked from home during covid. but he made it clear to upper management that ENFORCED mask requirements would result in losing the entire management team.

That is also true, some work friendships just fell apart over time but some of that was also largely to the other 2020 BS. However yeah nobody bothers to get to know new coworkers at all since they're just a name on a monitor.
