Lol blaming TV
It’s weak minded people.
A strong person can critically think and is not a mindless programmable bot that follows the TV
The problem is not “TV”
It’s just one obstacle in the gauntlet of life fren
Plenty of us here we're into the programming before we understood what was happening. They were REALLY good at it.
I have a vastly different take on the world from when I was in my teens/20s. A lot of that was because of TV/music. Now, I can rarely watch TV because I see the programming happening and it disgusts me.
I hear you but what I’m saying is that “things” (like tv) are not to blame. Because if we use that line of reasoning then we would need to blame guns because guns are the reason people are getting shot… I might as well just be Amish and blame electricity because it’s electricity‘s fault that we have all these devices…… Or how about we blame fire? If mankind had not discovered fire then we would be living in paradise right?
It’s all a distraction from the real problem which is that people are pieces of shitz. In general. At their core. Things are inanimate tools. They can be used for good or for evil and that even includes things like “programming”
There is a reason the coveted demographic is 18-49, but at would argue it is really more like 18-39.
Blaming TV for our problems is like blaming guns for killing people or the Amish blaming electricity.
Also funny that they're blaming TV when people are just getting their next outrage via curated social media like Reddit, Twitter and Facebook.
I hear you but even social media is not the problem the base problem is human nature. I can prove my point too. Imagine a world where nobody committed any bad deeds and everybody had pure thoughts because in that world TV and social media would not be a problem.
And I suggest you get off the Internet and get yourself to an Amish farm
oh yes! like porn, alcohol, even certain foods that ppl have a hard time saying NO to.
It's much easier to prevent a problem by avoiding the stimulus that triggers the problem.
We watch tv very selectively (through online streaming). Will pick one show maybe to watch, usually we can see the clandestine conservative values leaking through -- and absolutely 0 tolerance for talking heads. even shapiro or similar.... let me read what you've written without all the inflection, drama, and sensory overload.
The TV is part of the problem. The root cause is lack of awareness. Failure to examine the pavlovian nature of electronic sources of data, the passive acceptance of material via X medium, the desire to be stimulated, appeased, and pleasured.
When one puts Truth as the highest value, recognizes a man (human) cannot be trusted until he proves he is trustworthy, and demonstrates a strong distrust towards those who have power over him, one is better positioned to see what is really happening.
Man is the problem. Man is the only problem. Electricity is not the problem nor part of it and neither is TV as a thing.
Peoples lazy habits are the problem human nature is the problem … you’ve been duped…
With all do respect, you have not justified your position, you have simply told me i am wrong because we do not agree.
How we formulate the problem, recognize man's limitations, allows the ability to change what we have control over.
When you understand the mechanisms of the manipulation, you are better positioned to resist the manipulation and lead others.
If you want to teach someone how to manage modern life, you need to be able to explain the threat to their sanity and safety.
Guns are not the problem -- it's how people use them. fortunately, guns do not hypnotize while using them. meth is not the problem -- it's how people use it. fortunately, meth is so addictive the solution is clear -- never use it. TV lands in the middle.
Stop trying to “educate me” you sound like a liberal elite
Word games. TV is not inherently bad. Don’t break your neck trying to do mental gymnastics to avoid that fact
