The Parable of the Mustard Seed
Matthew 13:31-32
31 He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. 32 Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”
Matthew 18:20 KJV For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Trying to get your dumbass to repent?
Matthew 13:31-32
The Bible says that if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can look at a mountain and tell it to move from here to there and it will have to obey you.. God SPOKE the world into existence.. That’s how His power is released.. We also release His power by Our words if we have faith.. He wants us to know how important our WORDS are, and that they will work For us or Against us, depending on what we Say.. Hope that helps in understanding the gist of this post…
Oh my goodness, I can't stop laughing!! Amen to this Oldpatriot.
Hold fast through the storm that tries to rip your faith away from you, because its' time is short and the rewards are eternal.
There are several scriptures this could be referencing. The following quote is Jesus' answer when disciples questioned Him after they had some trouble casting out an evil spirit.
So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. (Matthew 17:20, NKJV–all references)
But there is also this from Mark 11:22-24:
So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. (emphasis mine)
He is saying, "Because what I just said to you is true, pray with the expectation of being answered."
Also consider this from Luke 17:6:
So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
Jesus is not speaking in metaphors on this topic. In all these things, He is saying that real faith makes a difference. It is quality, not quantity that gets results. More is not necessarily better. The key factor is whether you believe that God will do what He said, or is willing to give you what you ask for. It's pretty simple, really, but religious minds have made it complicated, teaching people that there are a multitude of conditions, like God is just waiting to say no. But the only common factor among people Jesus healed when He was on earth was their faith, not the perfection of their doctrine or their unwavering compliance to religious law. It was their faith and nothing else. They all just believed God would heal them, and that made the connection to His power and love that saved them.
God isn't stingy, and he's not looking for reasons to say no. In fact, He went to extraordinary lengths to make sure His answer could always be yes, and Jesus encouraged us to expect it. A tiny, little bit of faith, like a mustard seed, is enough if it is the know-that-you-know kind without any well-i'm-not-so-sure mixed in. God can and will change everything in response.
John 16:24: Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
