Small business owners and individuals fund this US military corporation. The hospitals that jabbed us pay no tax and receive our taxes. The NGOs through their media propagandize us 24/7 but are tax exempt. The churches that sheep us are tax exempt while we small businesses pay inflation (tax) at higher and higher levels.
There should be no tax exempt staus to any entity. Why do we not demand this? Go back to our roots where charity is motivated by charity and not tax deduction which enable Clinton Foundations to exist.
Justify why the tax exempt of your choice must exist…and I say swallow this red pill. Tax exempts kill.
Income tax is theft. Period. Full stop.
NO entity should be paying any income taxes whatsoever.
I agree with you to point.
The tax exemption being extended to churches is not just for charity. How would the churches tell the real truth and not get hammered by the IRS because they are not speaking the MSM/globalist narrative?
Would the IRS fine them til kingdom come, to the point of their closure. Being the last bastian where a person can hear truth, and gather with their fellow believers and be taught where and how they can 'fight' within their station in life. As a father, farmer, business owner, or laborer?
Removing that tax exemption removes this place as the goal.
It is my opinion that your question is valid. And there are other entities that have abused this. Those should have their tax exemption reviewed, and if necessary removed. But to arbitrarily remove ALL tax exemptions is dangerous.
The Church was always non-taxable according to the Constitution. It is when church leaders volunteered themselves to become a 501C(3) non-profit corporation, they became subject to the government. A corporation by definition is a creature of the State and given 'licence' to operate. The Johnson Amendment of 1954 that permanently gagged the corporate churches.
I would concede that It would likely take constitutional amendment in order to make this happen.
We already have a Constitutional Amendment for this. When people sign contracts, this tends to override constitutional amendments. Volunteering to become a corporation creates such a situation.
Thank you for your replies. I did forget about the Johnson Amendment. I am Catholic and I have been saying for years that it should lose its tax exempt status due to the level of corruption in the American side of the Church.
I am simply deeply concerned about the level of corruption of the IRS abusing churches of any faith. Removing a gathering place. I may sound like I am talking out of both sides of my mouth. I am.
I recall the plight of the Indianapolis Baptist Church, in which the IRS was sent in guns drawn. It appears once a church becomes a 501c(3) non-profit corporation, there is no escape from it. It's metaphorically the church that has sold their soul to the devil.
The original church gatherings were in the homes of believers. There is nothing better than bible study to kindle faith and bonds with your neighbors. I believe we need to return to this. Church denominations have failed us. This is especially apparent during the lock-downs. I can't get over the undeniable lack of leadership and faith in God in that God Himself would not protect the faithful congregation from 'harm' due to this "pandemic". It has a 99.97% survival rate. Where were they? Why did they promote the deadly jab? Were they also paid like the hospitals and Legacy News? I feel it in my bones. Something is not right.
Your bones are feeling the truth. There was a WHO/UN "table...." something table...play between the government, corporations and indeed religious 'leaders' to speak at a table, as if rehearsing verbally regarding a pandemic. The focused on the Protestants heavily.
I did not hear of the Jews or Muslims, Sikh, etc. being asked to role play verbally. It was targeted specifically toward Christians, if I recall correctly.
I think it was that Summit that everyone speaks of, the one Bill Gates has been hosting for over a decade. I can not recall it. So sorry.
Many American Catholics have bought the vaccine BS. However that is nominal truly. There is a very large contingency of Catholics that said no way.
Event 201?
Yes! Thank you!
Yes! The lockdowns were the true test of all the churches I looked at. Shutdowns, masking? Be gone whore. Ended up having to drive 50 miles to a small church. It was worth it.
So, your favorite charity is your particular church, and the failure to grant a tax exempt status is dangerous. The IRS currently hammers individuals, why should the tax exempt not have the same scrutiny? Small businesses have a terrible time with payroll tax, I don’t see why a tax exempt should not have the same level of tax reporting, if it means a relief to the small business owner and it’s employees.
