Just got our dog her rabies vaccination, came with a QR code to put on her collar.
Really trying to normalize this shit aren’t they? I am starting to feel guilty she is chipped even though it makes sense to do it to a dog.
I want off this ride.

On the human side I agree.
Dogs don’t have a long enough life span for that to be a major factor to me. My dogs being stolen does concern me.
Better than a third of dogs die of cancer now. Interesting, no?
After being involved with the Kennel Club and how crazy some people are about achieving the ideal breed standard… it makes for some crazy dogs or they have other deformities, disorders or problems.
I’m not going to say an implant is not a causal factor because I don’t know. I do know there are plenty of other good reasons for cancers in dogs.
But did you read the articles I linked? We're here to learn. Every assumption ('hypothesis' and 'theory') needs to be proven or dispelled.
Incidentally, did you know 'domestication' of animals is a form of dumming-down and genetic retardation, similar to, but not the same as Down's Syndrome? Feral animals are far more intelligent than domesticated animals.
This is the 'tip of the iceberg' in terms of anthropogenic breeding.

I read an interesting theory that animals are autistic. Which certainly explains some of their behaviours.
Well we would have to dumb down animals to domesticate them. They need to have reduced flight risk, a willingness to accept different species into their pack and sometimes as pack leader.
Also, domesticated animals tend to wait for instructions from their master verses making their own choices.
