It took awhile, but the day has come. From this point forward, it's time to stop treating this site different from others and just read the Great Awakening forum exactly the same way we read anything else online:
ASSUME every post is OLD, a half-truth, irrelevant, or FAKE NEWS until proven otherwise.
It's too bad it's come to this, but it's daily now. Post goes up, creates a hubbub or a furor, then some autist swiftly pinpoints how old or fake it is.
I cannot help but think the Mods have a role to play in keeping the quality high. Posts like this, which get sticked, should be vetted in some way.
Also, low quality (- low effort) posts should be actively discouraged, and high quality practices encouraged.
if the mods don't do that to some extent, it's very hard. There are limits on what community contributors can do in terms of helping to curate the board, and mods need to lead the way, even if they don't devote every single hour of the day to managing the board.
(Greatly appreciate the mods, who mostly sacrifice and invest their effort and time. Just stating some simple facts here; that's all.)
THEN WHY THE FUCK DOES IT SAY "TODAY"
AND WHY IS THERE NO DATE ON THE POST

It’s all about the headline, no one reads anything. Grab the headline and go.
Sadly this is the case now

It's OK, it's the natural way of things
It's the same half dozen accounts too, I'm wondering if they're putting stuff that is false on the front on purpose to discredit folks.
Ouch.
But so true.
