Hunter left the laptop at the shop to cut his own strings. Is it coincidence the shop owner turned it over to Guiliani of all people?
In another post, Q said the person taking the pictures of Hunter was the same one doing the blackmailing. That means the pictures were made for the blackmailers' purposes, not for Hunter's kinks. Which also means the pictures Hunter took of himself were a way for him to check in with his handlers. They required a constant stream of high value blackmail material to assure loyalty.
You don't leave that kind of material with some random shop unintentionally.
I think you’re right about the person who took the photos- it was obviously someone very close to hunter considering the photos’ contents, likely a female considering various poses and states of dress or otherwise. With respect to how close the person was personally to take the photos, they also could have taken the laptop with the emails, added the photos, and turned it over to someone as a tidy package nicknamed “exhibit A”.

That level of sinister is beyond comprehension for most people.
If I remember correctly, Mac only turned over a copy of the laptop to Rudy after the FBI refused to come get it for a year?
