Good response and data. It reminds me of something I heard Dinesh D'Sousa explain on the Dennis Prager show:

Victor Frankle said 'The greatest human need is for meaning.' The corollary is something Edmund Berk once said about the French Revolutionaries: ‘Lacking decent habits of behavior themselves, they prefer moral opinions instead.’ What he was getting at is that when people lose a sense of private morality and private decency, when they do disgusting things in their own ordinary lives, they always look for some collective morality to vindicate it. A kind of classic example would be a sexual predator like Bill Clinton endorsing the equal rights amendment. So he’s a disgusting individual in the way he actually treats women, but by embracing the equal rights amendment he sort of signals that collectively in a public sense he’s on the right side and it of course works for him. The feminists will all give him a pass, they’ll all not only look the other way but protect him.

NPC's have a rationalization loop in their minds that permits them to continue voting for Democrats despite their crimes. This is the origin of their different set of rules for political opponents.

The crimes that will be revealed in Hunter's laptop are expected to be so bad that they will break the loop. There will be no rationalizing it.

At least that's the expectation. We'll soon see.
