My Floridian daughter recently was denied an Uber for not wearing a mask. Her ride was canceled, and she was charged. The driver reported her, and she received this email telling her to take a photo in a mask to be allowed to ride. She called a Lyft instead.

I think I read something on here about why Uber was created. It’s a plan to get people using a car service & not own cars. Eventually they will be automated cars. I read it in the last few months.
Electric car company opening in Oklahoma originally planned to make their cars like those Lime scooters where you park it somewhere and someone else takes it and when you need it you just find one and go.
Surprise surprise, that business model lasted less than a week and now they are onto just making the cars for personal use.
They want everyone's car to be completely controllable, i.e. electric (can explode and can decide what days the car will just refuse to turn on) and self driving (can 'accidentally' drive itself off a cliff or into oncoming traffic)
