We’ve had all 3 of our children at home, the last one being during the early days of covid. The only person that would have a legitimate conversation with us about vaccines was our midwife. We had been told by other Dr’s that they wouldn’t be our practitioner just on the basis of benign questions. For instance, why do we need to give the baby a Hep B shot? We aren’t filled with track marks and are monogamous? One pediatrician told us he wouldn’t be our Dr because we mentioned spacing them out. Their outright refusal to entertain any questions threw up too many red flags back then. I didn’t know exactly why we were against it, but there were enough reasons to not trust it.
I congratulate you on your home births. I had 5 home births in the 80's and feel so blessed to have had that opportunity. No vaxes, no circumcision, no drugs.
I only went to our doctor (who was a GP and delivered our kids) if my kids were sick and then when I got the diagnosis, I went home and treated them with herbs, homeopathics, vitamins etc. I did not do "well baby visits". Why go to the doctor if the kids are well?
My children were all home schooled, then in school (unvaxxed), and college (unvaxxed). It can be done but I believe they are trying everything in their power to get people to comply (as shown with covid vaxxes). The medical profession is much more militant than it used to be...probably due to the fact that the puppet masters expect the docs to dance to their tune because of $$$.
I was in the minority and I often felt like I was swimming upstream but I would do it all again if I had to. The hardest part was when my kids all got whooping cough. But we ALL survived even though that was probably one of the most difficult things I have ever lived through.
God bless you and yours...you are good, responsible parents and I commend you for your dedication to the health and well-being of your children.
Not to mention that most babies get an extra hep B shot (5 instead of 4) because of how the vaccines are bundled. This makes absolutely no sense given that it only takes 2 shots in their early teens to gain full immunity, so why not just put it off until then?

Wow! It's gotten really bad. At least back then the docs listened to my concerns, and were agreeable. Good job on holding your ground.
