I’ve been watching the Today Show (barely watching while I drink coffee and read GAW) since the inauguration. For three reasons:
- To see Savannah Guthrie get her dues
- To sense a narrative shift
- To catch the local weather future cast for rain times (in Florida.)
This morning was the first time in ALL of their coverage of Ukraine that they mentioned Ukrainians thinking that Russia was helping them and that Russia says it is not attacking civilians. Then they went on to show some BS coverage of the theater attack to try to show that Russia was lying as a way to try to counter that narrative. The counter coverage was poorly done in my eyes.
Let’s see if this is the beginning of the shift...
I'm at Publix at least 2-3x a week. We go through a lot of fruit, veggies and meat. I like to buy and cook fresh. I need to find a local produce grower and farmer's market though
Yeah we go at least twice a week also. Are you in Florida? I’m in Alabama, not far across the line from Fl. I was so happy when Publix finally started popping up here. The other grocery stores were not appealing at the time when we moved here over 15 yrs ago.
I miss Publix
When we first moved to Bama from Florida we missed it too, wasn’t many decent places to shop until Publix came here. I even wrote the company asking them to please build here and at the time they said it wasn’t in the plans (so to speak), but I guess about a year after my email they started building the first one. Now they have 3 in my area with a 4th being built right now.
Ooo noted... I'll start writing🐸
I’m in N Georgia. Originally from south Florida. Moved here about 3.5 years ago. Love the weather (most of the year) but I do miss Florida.
I didn’t know they had Publix in Georgia. I remember as a kid when we would do our yearly trip to Savannah for Thanksgiving to visit family, we would take my granny to shop at Piggly Wiggly, lol. As a kid that lived in Florida & at times in NJ (moved a lot as a kid) I thought the name Piggly Wiggly was hilarious. We have them here in Bama also.
