Origin of the word "gay":

17th century, the word began to be associated with immorality. By the mid 17th century, according to an Oxford dictionary definition at the time, the meaning of the word had changed to mean “addicted to pleasures and dissipations. Often euphemistically: Of loose and immoral life”. This is an extension of one of the original meanings of “carefree”, meaning more or less uninhibited.

Fast-forward to the 19th century and the word gay referred to a woman who was a prostitute and a gay man was someone who slept with a lot of women (ironically enough), often prostitutes. Also at this time, the phrase “gay it” meant to have sex.

With these new definitions, the original meanings of “carefree”, “joyful”, and “bright and showy” were still around; so the word was not exclusively used to refer to prostitutes or a promiscuous man. Those were just accepted definitions, along with the other meanings of the word.

Around the 1920s and 1930s, however, the word started to have a new meaning. In terms of the sexual meaning of the word, a “gay man” no longer just meant a man who had sex with a lot of women, but now started to refer to men who had sex with other men. There was also another word “gey cat” at this time which meant a homosexual boy.

Q tips were "invented" in 1923. For three years they were called "Baby Gays". There is no way he did not know of this meaning. It had long since come to have a predominantly sexual meaning.

Gay didn't commonly mean homosexuals or prostitutes at the time Qtips were created. From Wikipedia, which is a lot of the other sources for this post:

If you read, the usage of the word gay to be carefree and/or unattached was the general usages until the mid to late 1900s. The 1890s were opportunistic and economically good and often referred to as the Gay Nineties around that time period. If the first published usage of gay to imply homosexual was traced to 1922, it's doubtful that Ina year of pre-internet or even pre-video time that the word would change usage very quickly. Especially when there are many cases well into the 1930s of it being used and understood to be carefree or unattached. So it would make sense that in this usage that it's meant as "Baby carefree q-tips." This makes sense in the context of a baby product. I think the majority of this decode is quite the stretch honestly...

You're missing the whole point of what I'm suggesting and focusing on the wrong thing.

Again, sexually unrestrained. That's NOT the carefree you're thinking of.

But the bigger point is that "gay" was the perfect comm. It was a weird with both a strongly sexual meaning and a "happy" meaning. That is a perfect word for comms because you can dupe sheep easily.

You just say "oh, no I meant in as in 'happy'" and the sheep go back off to the field without a clue. Meanwhile they're laughing their ass off at the dumb idiots who believe that's what they meant.

Words with double meaning are perfect for comms. Sheep can't figure it out and are easy to gas light and mislead. The whole point (that you missed) is that "gay" had double meanings. That is EXACTLY what words they use for comms.

If you don't understand what comms are about then the significance of using "baby gay" will go over your head. That's why Q stressed the importance of learning comms.

That's why also need to take into account all the coincidences surrounding it. Context matters. The same clown that made the UN logo makes the Q-tip box in a very similar blue.

I don't know what to say. You missed the entire point I was making. You're trying to argue that you believe it was meant this way. I'm arguing that it was chosen BECAUSE it had double meaning. To the sheep it would mean what you think it means, but to the comms-aware it could be used for double meaning.

As Q said "Symbolism will be their downfall". symbolism talk was developed in the Victorian era. Even then you famously had the language of flowers and the nobility would famously hide saucy language in the double meaning of words.

For example Dirty Berdie of England had an affair with Winston Churchill's mother. If you read their very sexualized letters it would look like a discussion about sharing a cup of green tea. To regular people they'd go "what's wrong with green tea?" but to the Victorians they'd know Winston Churchhill's mother was going to serve the green tea half naked and it was an invitation to get freaky in the sheets.

(You can research it. This really happened and was very common).

Green tea was just code for sex just like pizza is used by pedos.

You arguing that "gay" had a nice meaning means you are missing the point. I imagine you'd say the same about pizza. "What do you mean? They're just talking about pizza?"

No, they're not. If you think that, then pizzagate went over your head. Mafia bosses famously also use innocent words when talking about hits. You need understand that the double meaning of gay is WHY it was useful for comms.

Visit your favorite internet mass retail outlet and look for children's products. For example, search for children's desk chairs. Out of all the blue ones, how many aren't the nauseating united nations blue? I finally found a decent dark blue one and had to pay a premium to get it. You'll see the same theme throughout all children's products, now. Just searching for products for boys can give ya the shits...kinda like milk of magnesia.
