Where is this? And when? I don’t grocery often for my house but didn’t think GMOs were labeled in US, only non-GMO or organic?
A lot of foods have This was produced by/with genetic engineering on the label by the ingredients. Mainly things made with corn or soy as the “filler”, so cereals, chips, soups and things of the like will have that on the box/container. I don’t think it’s required, but consumers like having the ability to know per say.
Just to be clear, Congress passed a law some seven or so years ago that it is forbidden to label most foods on the shelves as GMO. So, they don't want us to know. I know that organic means not GMO and some foods are labelled ''Non-GMO", but just know that they don't really want you to know how bad things are. They are bad. For example, anything that contains soy is GMO because soy is GMO. Try to find a loaf of bread wrapped in plastic that does not contain soy oil. If it does, it is GMO. Canola oil is GMO. Don't EVER use it. Wheat is not GMO, because when the developed a GMO wheat and fed it to animals, ALL the animals died. So, wheat is sprayed with Roundup (glyphosate), which causes major diseases in humans (see Stephanie Seneff's work), as are 150+ other foods. Glyphosate is maybe even worse than GMO tampering. Search for better foods. I buy 55 lb. bags of Italian flour to make my bread. I am assuming they don't tamper with their wheat the same way. Grow vegetables!
