This is why God must be the head of state. God is clear what a man and woman is. God is clear on fundamental principles we should all do our best to adhere to.
If man is head of state, the most ruthless, deceitful and dishonest person will make the rules they’re willing to enforce.
God is justice and equity. His judgement is not like ours- His is righteous judgement which is gracious and merciful-man cannot judge man- Only God is our judge through Jesus Christ ❤️
Um, no. How long has evil been existing on Earth? (basically, forever) God is the one who holds back annihilation. In order to give the chance for evil to repent. In order for his children to make the right choice. But at some point, when God no longer holds back the natural force of the laws of the universe, all the annihilation that evil has been accruing to itself will be unleashed, to run its natural course.
To explain in analogy, the weight of evil choices and actions is an inertia generated by those choices. But because of love, God has held back that inertia for millenia. God has been the wall of the dam that contains all that inertia (sort of like evil karma). God has done this in order to conduct his providence of salvation and maximize the possibility for those who choose evil to repent and avoid the inertia they create.
But this cannot be done forever. Why? Because the inertia is real and must be allowed to run its course by the natural laws that God himself created. So at some point, God really has to step aside, and stop being the wall. Otherwise, things will never right themselves and balance will not be restored.
God actually loves his enemy. But at some point, God cannot prevent his enemy from suffering the natural consequences that result from violating the laws of the universe.
This is the real meaning of the judgment. It is self-judgment. Because when one steps and chooses to violate natural and heavenly law, one condemns oneself.
Up until recently i've never really gotten into the bible - but been either seeking it out, or finding exactly what I needed right infront of me once I was welcome to receiving it. (Actually in a big part, because of this community)
That said - before I even made that step, when i'd remember to pray before bed i'd always usually say the same - "bless my family, my friends, strangers, and even my enemies - amen" and never really knew why - but its just what came to mind once and it stuck.
