Gnostic is a label. And the meaning simply means hidden.

Why did Jesus teach in parables and allegory???

He himself TAUGHT us to realize that the meanings are hidden and for eyes that can see and ears that can hear.

So why would you expect any of the deeper spiritual meanings to be easy to find? They are hidden for Good reason.

The Bible, like Q drops, are not 2 dimensional. They are 3+ dimensions. Almost like holographic in a sense. Hard to explain.
