I'm hoping that with the good guys in charge we can take over the technology and produce things that help us not harm us.

For example, why not teach our DNA to rejuvenate itself?

Sounds like a good idea.

But these evil freaks use it to kill us.

So maybe it's like electricity. You can use it for good or for bad.
