Sheriffs have the most power of anyone. We have a chance to flip our county sheriff to red. I went to hear both Republicans sherriffs talk who are running against one another in the primary next month. I liked both of them, but one was a bit more polished than the other one. And the other one couldn't stop his legs from jittering under his chair during the town hall. So I guess he was nervous talking to the crowd... all Republicans. IMHO he may not be ready for prime time.
