Clever Anons know that Gold shall kill the Fed. When Putin announced he is buying Gold for Roubles, and also that people need to pay Roubles for Oil, basically what he did was force everyone to ditch dollars and buy Gold (to buy Roubles) to purchase Oil.

Of course if it blasts through the old value, that's a completely different story

Only a matter of time. Even gaining a 100 times that is only inevitable. Not because Rouble is stronger, but because Fiat currencies will die and Fed will die.
