Based on the parameters of some dewds programming
Exactly. Folks do not water "artificial plants".
Lots of people misunderstand the "artificial" part of AI - and focus in on the word intelligence.
AI has no consciousness.
Nor any common sense. But then again, not many liberals have common sense either.
AI is probably not complex enough to have common sense, but it may at some point. Depending on one's definition of that somewhat vague term. A lot of the complex appearing stuff coming out of AI chatbots was instilled into it by humans.
Just because you program an AI to learn and think it doesn't mean that at some point it wasn't created in a way that allowed it to happen.
Even if you program it to be able to change it's source code, some "dewd" programmed the thing that allowed that.
My lighthearted comments were in the context of the discussion thread "Based on the parameters of some dewds programming".
Perhaps "Parameters" would be the main piece to carry with to your college wikipedia lecture. Are not most AI filled with some kind of parameters before being set upon its intended task? I ask this lightheartedly, not as a request for a long and deeply philosophical discussion that goes way off topic. :)
So are you saying that AI's pronoun is "they" or referring to some other "they" who collect information?
