OT: My uncle is a huge golfer. When I was a kid, he took my dad out and my dad had only played a couple of times at this point (early 70s). My dad got a hole in one and he said my uncle was jumping up and down and hugging him. At the time, my dad didn't understand why he was so excited (obviously, now he gets it). The club even mounted the ball on a little trophy for him. To this day, I don't think my uncle has ever hit a hole in one.

Yes, it happened to my brother when he was only nine years old. He got his name engraved on the club register for hole in ones.
