He’s waiting for the Android and website version to be live. Why would he start the BOOMS now before he has the app fully available for EVERY person?

Hey! For DM you click the bell button on the top right, your inbox.

When you're in messages, on the top left there is a little plus sign in a circle. Click that and manually type the name in. It's poorly thought out and should really be updated to have a direct feature to DM someone from their profile directly.
