Question: what does this flower she holds represent? is it the same as the pin worn by various royalties/elites I can't remember?
The flower looks like The Tudor Rose. There’s a very long & violent history behind it. “War Of The Roses” The House of Tudor & House of Lancaster fought for the throne. Eventually a Lancaster & a Tudor married & they combined the red & white rose as their family emblem.
Queen Elizabeth II is a descent of the Tudor’s on the Scottish side.
Margaret’s daughter was Queen Mary of Scott’s cousin to Queen Elizabeth I. Queen Elizabeth had her executed because Mary was next in line for the English throne. (Long history of Scots & English fighting over the true Queen.)
