Anime does Disney better than Disney ever did. Check out Metropolis from 2001 (not the shitty 1920s film that pretentious film critics like to praise) or, for a more recent example, Ranking of Kings - getting some Disney vibes from the animation style, and the story is so much better than the crap that passes for "entertainment" in the West.
