I am under the impression this problem is going to be the norm, it will become a statistic as the manufacturer will have no chocie but to carry special insurance for this!

Wait until this happens and a whole city block gets torched! I see it now, the new crime of the future will be to reverse the polarity in the charging system in an electric vehicle your enemy ownes, might as well take his family out while they sleep and the whole neighborhood right? Why'd you kill them? Cuz they was home....

reversing the polarity won't work, there will be safegaurds. Puncturing the battery when charging is where it's at.
