I hadn't even heard of STEPN (GMT) before, but of course the selling and use, including malicious use, of biometric, locational, and other data is well-known and widespread. Cleaning that up via law, class action lawsuits, regulatory action, or whatnot is something that MUST be done if we are to have anything other than a very grim tech-tyranny to live in.
Apple is STILL telling the rubes (including me, I'm afraid -- I'm a big fan of their hardware and design) that Apple PROTECTS YOUR PRIVACY while at the same time working to help build the Social Credit Score prison for all mankind. The class action lawsuit against Apple and many other companies fraudulently claiming to protect what they are actually destroying will eventually make a LOT of money for somebody (Institute for Justice, maybe?)
