The “do animals go to heaven” discussion sure is a great way to divert attention away from the foundation.
If Christians do believe the Bible is the Word of God, then that’s where one should start.
But since there isn’t a reference to this debate (of which I know of), then here comes the OPINION of man… the tendency to philosophize on what could be.
I’d posit a simpler question for the philosophers out there…

My Catholic Priest HATES Francis.
Damn, a based priest. Is he pretty vocal about it?
Yes. He won't even use the word Pope with him. I am not going to write what he said should happen to him. I asked him if dogs are in Heaven. He said: "They better be". LOL
And we attend traditional Latin Mass. That Catholic priest is also very based. Talks about current events, the killer shot, corruption at the Vatican and the NWO agenda.
In my experience (been to a few churches w the Latin rite across the country), it was feels more based, less about the organization but more about God, Jesus, Holy Spirit.
And yes, these priests… hilarious, but they lay it out man. No hiding behind platitudes, it’s pure sniper stuff.
