Yeah, I got lucky. The funniest part when I regained consciousness (with all kinds of wires and devices attached all over me), the EMTs started asking me a bunch of questions to see if I had any brain damage. They were asking things like where am I, what day is it, and things like that.
Then one of the EMTs asked me, "Who is the President of the United States?" I was like, "Is that a TRICK question?" And I proceeded to say, "Well, the SQUATTER who's PRETENDING to be the President is Joe Biden. But the REAL President who truly WON the 2020 election is going to be speaking here tonight." All the EMTs grinned and tried to keep from laughing. =-)
That whole FL 7-3-21 Trump rally trip was a wild adventure. Got to watch a dozen fireworks shows on Tampa Bay right on the water for 4th of July the day after the Trump rally too. Memories that will last a lifetime! They had to cancel my Jet Ski tour at Clearwater Beach though since I was a heat stroke risk. But I was kinda relieved actually. Still made the most out of my trip and recovered just fine.
So what's it like being an RN watching all the hospital horrors? Bet you have nightmares from all the medical tyranny going on, no?
Yes. I'm very grateful that my job does not involve direct patient care. In fact, I'm not doing anything with patients, or doctors, or medicine. I don't have to get vaccines, keep my CPR updated, no mask, and I'm not in fear of losing my license, ever. It's the best nursing job I've ever had. Medical tyranny is real, and I no longer believe in Rockefeller medicine. Hahaha that's a lot of info!
oh that's awesome, that you attended! I see your point! And, I'm a psych nurse. Good job avoiding The Baker Act!
