  • Many people that get through the auditions are plants. (Or know the producers)

  • they set rules, regulations and stipulations on contestants yet consistently and knowingly break them

  • I saw more than enough truly talented people get the axe in order to make space for a fool in a chicken costume

  • the voting system, haha. Much like our government, the outcome is predetermined much in advance to maximize drama/tension

That was just what I saw in 1 season. Don’t get me started on the “talent/hosts” and their true nature.

Thank you for the insight! This all makes sense, although I am curious how Season 9 had nothing but guitar players of various genres. I blame Ellen 😁.
