First day of training the first question they asked was ”What name would you like on your name tag?” She answered “Leanne”. Was then asked “What would you like your pronouns to be?” She answered “I don’t want any. Just my name.” She was told pronouns are not COMPULSORY but highly recommended to make “others” feel more comfortable. She answered “My pronouns are “Miss/Miss Leanne”. They told her those were not pronouns and couldn’t be used, and they were also too long. She said “Well, those are my genders so please put them on my name tag if I have to have them”. Her name tags says “Leanne”!
