Flat earth is a larp. As a ten year old flying from Detroit to Hawaii at 40,000 ft. I could see the curvature of the earth in every direction.

That is impossible. The earth is far too large to see the curvature at such a low altitude.

I've observed the curvature looking out over Lake Huron from Oscoda, MI but really you MUST be right. I used a 3-foot straight edge on a tripod and asked other people to see if they could see it. Everyone was amazed that they could see it.
Ive flown all over the world and stood a top some of the highest peaks. You can not see the curve from a plane. Even the experts say that you are far too close to the earth to see a curve. The edge of the atmosphere is still too close. Amateur rockets have proven that.

I've seen a LOT of the flat earth videos/websites over the past few years. Still have not seen this PROOF you speak of.

The problem is when you think a ship sails over the horizon, you can increase zoom and it returns to view. I've done this myself.
Go to the beach and bring binoculars and a telescope. You can visually see it anymore, use the binoculars and like magic its back in full view. When it sails over the horizon again, use the telescope and again it will return to full view.
The problem seems to be the optics used and not any actual curve.
I've seen the curvature of the earth with my own eyes. I know it's real. Taking a backseat ride in a Tomcat will do that for you. So will going on a World Cruise or two on an aircraft carrier.

I agree with the spirit of the statement, but in point of fact flat earth research (and science, likewise) is vehemently against "thought experiment" (which is merely mythology, and in no way experiment nor science)

Flat is a synonym for smooth, the earth is SMOOTH! So the earth is FLAT!
Bowling balls, sans the finger holes, and billiard balls are FLAT!
It is a language game to them. It does not have to be a PLATE to be flat, it does not have to be a PLAIN to be flat.
The question they do not want you asking is how did anyone know, over 2000 years ago, that the earth was smooth without being able to measure and observe? They are hiding a past with advancements level or beyond our current. WHY?

They have been able to use that little language confusion thing to take billions from the people at large to "prove or disprove" something that was already KNOWN! They hide information specifically to divide us and to steal from us and to mislead us.
The shape does not matter, what matters is that someone knew it was smooth before they should have been able to know.

For posterity, probably about 2 total hours. I was all for living on a piece of paper but a friend told me the earth was SMOOTH, mathematically, and I had to check it out, turns out they are the same thing! I miss that friend.
