I have read 40-70 million people died during Mao's Great Leap Forward (his Great Reset).

The Chinese killed 10 thousand people in one night in Tienanmen Square, 1989. They have no problem doing whatever works. Shooting into crowds, squashing people as they run over them in tanks.
