I'm dubious of this story. That Fox doesn't look rabid. Def comms.
Exactly. And rabid animals in general are afraid of humans, and foxes are very wary of humans. I'd highly doubt a real fox would bite any human unless said human grabbed it somehow, let alone a rabid fox that is dazed and out of its mind from the rabies
I heard an interview on local DC radio yesterday, of a D congressmen from CA, saying he felt something "nibbling at the back of his pants" and "it tore my slacks but didn't break the skin". Sorry....rabid animals don't "nibble", they bite, and a fox can leave a nasty bite if they want. Not to mention, I'm from DC and the odds of a fox being near Capitol Hill are exceedingly rare. Rock Creek Park, yes. Cap Hill, no.
I have read the other way around, that rabid animals are ones who are not afraid and will attack when they wouldn’t otherwise
Rabies cause hydrophobia and delusions. Aggression in animals because they are freaking the hell out.
Maybe they replaced him with a fox double. Can we see any mask lines? Check the earlobes!
I bet it had babies it was protecting ...
That time of year.
Also look at the grass. It is thick tall grass, like in a mountain setting. That is not a picture from DC. It is definitely a stock photo.
Tineye didn't find the image prior to 06 Apr. It could be DC, they have grass there. I'm from DC.
is it that overgrown though? looks like the rough in scotland.
It looks to me like liriope, an ornamental ground cover.
