Just noticed, maybe something, maybe nothing....
I was reading up on GME, and decided to take a look at the Cede and Company website, TLDR is when you buy stock anymore, you do not own it. Cede and Co. own it in title, you are considered the beneficial holder.
"Founded in 1996, Cede was formed for the purpose of efficiently processing transfers of stock certificates on behalf of the Depository Trust Company"
The Depository Trust Company is the clearing house at the center of all stock transactions, So I took a peek at their website as well.
Two things that stood out screaming at me, 55 and Water, as in Q mentioning 5:5 and watch the water....
Name: Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation Address: 55 Water Street, New York, NY, United States 10041 Web: http://www.dtcc.com/
Thoughts?
r/superstonk link related to this.. https://www.reddit.com/r/Superstonk/comments/mwpmtw/who_owns_55_water_street_in_nyc_the_building/
Wow nice find, I swear to god I stumbled upon this on my own just looking at their website, never realized someone else had done an entire write up on it.
You can avoid cede and co using computershare or other transfer agents. Actually you stumbled upon one of the biggest loopholes from entire stock market. Naked shorting, cellar boxing,...
Yep, I own my GME shares.
I believe you. Good work. I just was googling the initials and the address and hit on the reddit link. I'm not a reddit user.
