Early on in this covid shit i heard of the cytotoxic nature of the spike protein. Snake venoms are hemotoxic, cytotoxic, or neurotoxic (some may be cardiotoxic but anyways). Then i looked into which venoms have pure cytotoxic properties. Basically came up with the white lipped viper as nearly pure cytotoxin based on my digging. But we dont have those in the US. We dont stock antivenom for it in any volume. So what do we have here that has cytotoxic properties in its venom? Crotalus family. Rattlesnakes. As i left work one day i said to my boss, ”i wonder if antivenin for general crotalus species could protect blood cells and prevent related clotting. If I'm wrong, it wont matter. The hospital gives antivenom without knowing if a bite is wet or dry. Doesnt kill either way. Why not try it? And if it works, does that mean things that treat covid can also aid in snakebite treatment, like ivermectin maybe?"
He said the only thing that makes sense... "I dont know man". He not the type to think about shit like that. Hell, he took the 'vax'.
I have no way of knowing if any of this is connected or doable or even worth considering. Just thinking out loud.
