I've seen so much of this and potential debunking that I'm really not sure if it is true. Nothing surprises me and Hefner is bad but I'm going to put this temporarily into the "needs more evidence" category.
I've seen tons of supposed blueprints and they don't even all look the same
I watched the docu-series on AE and Hefner himself said he had cameras everywhere to record everything. Now why would he need to record everything if all the things going on in the house were mutual? He wanted to have blackmail and he for sure got it.
It’s absolutely insane what humans will go through just to be a “part” of something.
Even the security workers KNEW the heinous crimes happening, but the demons inside them helped to further the lie that everything is ok. The women want to do the nasty things the males are making them do.

Oh yeah it was absolutely a honeypot operation for blackmail and plenty of his old playboy bunnies have said he was quite evil. But that can be true and the tunnel part still be not true. I'm just saying the tunnel stuff has been making the rounds for ages and they all look different so it doesn't seem super reliable whereas the honeypot stuff has plenty of documentation and proof.
I've never been a huge proponent of the dumb theory and this seems along those lines. There are plenty of ways to sneak people around without dropping 100s of millions or billions or trillions on building tunnels
