Ugh. Is there any pure company out there? Protonmail "stands with Ukraine"

I didn't take it that way. They also said they won't block anyone in Russia, nor will they penalize anyone in either country for not being able to pay. It's not like we want the people in Ukraine to suffer...let's just get the Nazis out of anyone's picture.
Ah shit, my rage blinded me to that part. Good call!
I was annoyed when I got the email too
Innocent lives have been lost when Nazis are using human shields, and 'Relief efforts in Ukraine' does not mean funds go to the country of Ukraine. You can take it like that if you want, but if you actually read it, they definitely lean towards Russia.
I think the answer is "no," though I would love to be wrong.
I just go with "the least fubar." Duckduckgo and Protonmail fall into those categories (I think).
I tried Brave in lieu of DDG but it just doesn't provide good results for most searches, hampering investigation.
I don't view it like that. There is a lot of nuance and if you are a CEO of a massive corporation you aren't expected to understand every nuance of every situation. We spend hours a day here and many CEOs work 12 hour days see their family and go to sleep to get back up at 5am.
Ukraine is complicated and the brainwashing is massive so judging a company that deals with email for not understanding everything isn't always useful. If it is proven they know and are bowing to the mob then you can get angry
I received that as well. I sent a reply to the email included stating:
Nice!
Indeed, a job searching site is using blue/yellow on its lettering and the “we support Ukraine” bs too.
Yes you safeguard democracy by censoring and selling our data?
