Many organs do go to actual people. My uncle lived an extra 25 years because of his liver and kidney transplants. Organ donation shouldn't be discounted as doing some good at least. Being able to grow up and have my uncle, who was like a parent to me, around for essentially the majority of my life instead of him dying when I was 5, that's damn priceless. And I'm always eternally grateful and give respect to whomever those organs were from that allowed me to know my uncle instead of never really remembering him.
