You can get free Bibles and books at https://biblesforamerica.org/
Thanks I will check it out
The only thing I see there is reference to the New Testament Recovery Version, whatever that is. Stay away if that's all that offers. You can't have the fulfillment without the promise, or the sacrifice without the historical foundation, and so forth.
It would be a shame to only have half of the story without knowing or hearing the scientific truth of how the world came to be, along with fantastic stories of dinosaurs living with man, the rising and falling of kingdoms and people, and many supernatural events that many modern phrases and figures of speech reference, and all the rest. One needs the full meal deal for the instruction manual to this life and eternal life.
I’m a fundamentalist and I take scripture serious so I am careful about how I represent our lord. Specially his scriptures
You'd be handing them out to everyone because everyone here on earth is a Sinner!
But not all are willing to accept one
Call the Gideons.
They already have their own mission
I was thinking they know about “bulk”, but yes they do.
Yes, whenever volunteering at our state-Fair exhibits...section, I pick up as many pocket N.Testaments as they will Give. Still have 6 left to Bless yet more souls at the Food-bank... Thank you Jesus for these Compassionate folk who pay.... to Print them so more of your children can be by you Saved :)
The word is sent out, it does not return to God void, it accomplishes what he pleases. The Gideon’s come to our church once a year. We totally support their ministry. Mine will be on more of a p2p soul saving mission where they only hand out bibles and pray.
I need a bible
How can I send you one
Would it be possible for me to pick it up?
I will get you a Bible but your going to have to pm me .
R u trolling?
Not trolling. I find myself within driving distance of your church. That’s only one of many coincidences that called me to reach out. I can go there and get it out from under a bush if you care to be so discrete. Honestly I would like to meet you but totally understand if you don’t.
Message me @ 601-336-0259
Do you have a home church?
I sent you a message “wanting a good book to read”. Yes I have a church. I’m sure a bible is there for the asking.
No offense I was going to invite since you are so close
That's quite the story, JB, and a very admirable mission on many fronts. Blessings to you and your family, and I pray that your dad will come to know Jesus, the one true living God. I am willing to chip in a decent chunk, but am curious which version you plan to go with first. I have my preference and and hoping you are aware that not all versions are equal, and in many passages, say the opposite things.
Kjv or nasb
Thank you

Thank you very much.
I reread the campaign and realized I addressed you as JB, who I see now is the one who started the campaign and that is not you.
I'm glad to see the KJV is one of the finalists. Obviously, it's your choice what you go with, but I would urge you to go with the King James for the reasons that follow. Sadly, I wasn't aware of all of the actual differences until not too many years ago between it and the new (age) versions, which includes the New King James. As I mentioned earlier, they aren't always subtle and often say completely different or opposite things. Then, I believe only the KJV doesn't have a copyright, which I think requires a 10% difference in content. $$$ When a copyright is in place as it relates to the Bible, you legally cannot copy a certain amount of text without providing a credit. Why then are publishers trying to take credit for God's word? When a publisher, like has been done with the NASB, has multiple releases, what are they actually doing it for? $$$
Now for just some example verses that don't say the same thing. I'm not sure if you've ever studied this aspect, but it is rather eye-opening if not. This really needs to be taught in our churches, but since they're virtually all 501c3s (another full important topic) and tied to the government and Baal at the hip, it's no wonder we find our country in the state it's in, though only a little while longer, all glory be to God.
Genesis 1:1: It usually only takes 5 words for newer versions, like the NASB, to start going in a different direction using heavens (plural), which is technically not correct. Might seem like small potatoes at first glance, but God did not separate the heavens until verse 6. KJV correctly uses the singular heaven.
Genesis 1:5: KJV says the first day, which is very concrete; all others say one day, which leaves room for the long periods of time argument when talking about how old the earth is. Quite problematic.
2 Samuel 21:19: KJV says Elhanan killed Goliath's brother, but the NASB says Elhanan killed Goliath. Wait, what?! I thought David killed Goliath. I thought everyone including those who don't think the Bible is real know that David killed Goliath. Different manuscripts.
Isaiah 14:12: KJV calls Lucifer son of the morning, yet the NASB and others refer to him as the morning star. Sounds Masonic to me.
Hosea 11:12 KJV indicates Judah rules with God, yet NASB says Judah is unruly against God. One cannot say that these say the same thing.
Ephesians 3:9: KJV says Jesus created all things from the very beginning, yet NASB and all the rest leaves out Jesus so not to offend and also omits the definite time point of the beginning.
Revelation 13:16: KJV says the mark will be in the right hand or foreheads; new versions say on. What do we know about how the current injections work and the patents and technology within? Undoubtedly, the real mark will be done in similar vein (pun intended!) when the time comes.
There are many other issues, like the number of times Jesus, hell, repent, and so forth are omitted in the new versions.
I was just about to hit the send button on a donation and was doing a bit more research. I don't see a church at that address, or at least a traditional church building. And actually, Google and Bing go to 2 different spots. Are you guys doing a home church, or what is the name of it, if I may?
Thank you, I will research.
And I have studied this issue extensively. The new American standard is okay. You have to keep in mind that these are translations just as the kjv. If we had an original Bible none would be able to read it. Nasb is a good translation that takes nothing out of context, the rest are trash imo
I am JB fyi
I am JB JKB actually
Where can we send them?
10 Sherwood Forest rd. Ellisville MS. 39437
Okay, thanks. Now take that off the internet! You could have sent it in a dm.
It’s a church .
Okay, thanks. I was hoping that was the case.
Can I ask for you to further expand on your plan for this?
Well I’m going to share a link with you that explains my initial reason for doing and while planning this still small but very loud voice spoke up and payed it on my heart. I have to go 1000 miles to visit my dad for the 1st time in 27 years. While I take my wife and kids on this journey I thought I would map out every church along the way that might receive us. I will write them and plan the entire mapping. We will stop of i. Every town along the way in search of anyone who will receive the gospel and all of them that don’t own a Bible we will leave them with one. We will pray and try and get those we meet to join a local church as we go. I know it sounds spontaneous but that is how God has always worked in my life except for the call to ministry that I ignored for years. Ps my dad is not saved I pray he receives it Very intelligent but maybe hearing the gospel from me might change something.
Wow brother this is beautiful. I will be adding this to my prayers.
I have to do it this way because even the Bible says a pastor should be fed. I am not asking much from people just sponsorship for the mission. It’s a calling and it might grow into souls being won. At least that’s the dream and hope
How does your church feel about this? I wish I could help financially, however I am scrapping by myself. I will be praying hard for you brother. I love the spark that u have, truly it fills me with joy. I hope to someday connect all the people with all there many different sparks like yours. Let your light shine brother
re "I wish I could help financially, however I am scraping by myself." - How can I help you Ryan?
Maybe scraping by was poor word choice. Basically we have enough money for our bills+ to start our garden. Thanks for the offer of help though sis. Truly makes my heart happy just knowing u are there. U truly have done so much for me the past year+. I am excited to learn and grow from u more and more. Keep shining your light rainbow ❤🧡💛💚💙💜🌲🌳🌹🌺
Good Morning Ryan,
To this day I buy whatever I need that I can afford, on Sale... including food. All my life whilst in the M.-church, I shopped at Thrift-stores so I could give up to 20%Tithe, because " there... but for God's Grace, go I", aside helping anybody I could as Compassionate service leader. 💜 I'd visit people at o'dark 100 if need be & everyone 💜 in each congregation had my phone-# :). The lifestyle of living selfLess is (not an inconvenience nor a burden) Truthfully it's 1 of God's 🌹 great blessings... I love sharing such as I have. ~ I'm saying this, so that you know I am Sincere in my offers. And tho it be a widow's mite, gladly I give Joyfully... Remember this if ever you have a need 🌺 brother :)
They support anything I do. My church is small and they are the living way people in the world.
they are the living way people in the world.....can u expand on what u mean please
