...as if we didn't expect it. Around 3am central time Special Forces connected with AFSOC deployed. No idea where as of yet, but was sudden, from a central CONUS base. Airmen had less than an hour notice to be on flight. I hope to God we're not going to push our luck "over there". This info came to me DIRECT from one deploying..

I saw a pair of 47s headed east in NC over the weekend. Not much MIL traffic normally north of CLT.
I’m an hour east of Raleigh. 1-2 hours from all bases. In the 90s they flew over my property several days a week. I wish they would again. I love seeing them.
If you're anywhere near Goldsboro, you might have heard of a military plane losing a nuclear warhead there back in the 60s. It went so deep in the ground, the feds couldn't get to it, so that farmer's field is off limits to construction.
