You are so right fren. This system was designed that way for a reason. Parents need to make some serious changes about their busy lives. They have bought into the so called rat race of the American nightmare in the pursuit of materialism and convenience. Because of this, they have allowed their precious vulnerable children to be indoctrinated, and at worst, feasted upon by others. Parents need to get off the damn ride and decide what the hell is most important. The educational system we have at the moment is not salvageable the way it is. To make the necessary changes will take decades - because that is how long it has taken us to get to the situation we are currently faced with. These changes will not come fast enough for parents that have school aged children now. The only answer is to not participate.
One good thing that has come out of this plandemic is that some of us have been forced to decide between what we really need, and what we think we want. It can be done - one only needs to decide to get off the hamster wheel to nowhere and take charge of your own life and to not be herded into some manner of life dictated by others with agendas. We must get involved with our communities. Those that no longer have school aged children also need to step up and help parents home school or create educational co-ops to get these kids out of the public meat grinder. Our future depends upon it. Find ways to help either by physical presence or financially. Unless we all get involved for our future legacy, none of this will change. We can't keep expecting these parents to do it alone.
True. And that's what I see most in this movement is parents waking up and taking the schools back.
Sometimes you have to show them, after all
Unfortunately, I truly think spending time trying to fix the current system by "taking back" their schools is a waste of time and effort that could be better spent starting something new. Only when the system is challenged by competition will it change. A few parents showing up at board meetings over CRT and masks is not going to fix the foundational problems - that are many. Parents I am afraid have entered this arena far too late to have a serious impact. That horse left the barn years ago and the opportunity has been lost. The entire system needs to be scraped and rebuilt from the ground up. Any efforts trying to fix what is already there is no more effective than a band-ade on a hemorrhage. The only answer now is for parents to pull their kids out of the public schools and take charge of their children's education instead of trusting others that have failed miserably.
Remember when a decent home cost less than a fancy POS chevy truck ? I damn sure do.
No kidding. Back when my parents were young. A working class guy that was the sole breadwinner of a family could easily buy a home. Tell me this is not orchestrated poverty.
