roundup from monsanto causing transgenderism .... at least in frogs and why not humans ..... thats why they overcompensate

Serious question, what is a safe alternative to Roundup? First time homeowner and the Big Box stores love selling that stuff. I got a yard that needs work but a family to consider 1st and foremost.
