Funny, but the graph on the right actually shows the Ruble decreasing in value in relation to what I assume is the USD
We really don't know because the chart isn't labeled for the y axis. So it actually means nothing. Even grade-school kids have to label their charts. Come on people.
Before march you could buy about 80 rubles for one USD.
Then you could buy up to 140 rubles for one USD. (because it was worth less)
Now you can buy about 80 rubles for one USD again.
If you could have bought Rubles in march and sold them now, you would have made bank.
Basically you're misunderstanding the chart.
