that last part doesn't really side with me. I say personally if you're raped, you have every right to make sure whoever the hell did that to you doesn't get a chance to stay in the gene pool. It's not "destiny" or some cracked-up bullshit. It's a horrible crime.
I think 15 weeks is plenty of time for a rape victim to decide to abort.
It's certainly enough time to file a police report as well.
Not just that, but if you allow exemptions for it, then all of a sudden you will have a bunch of people deciding that they were raped.
Honestly I'd say I have to agree with you on that one. At 15 weeks in you've been pregnant for about 3-4 months, and even without a test you'd know there's something in there.
It is a horrible crime but 50% of that infant is of the raped woman. Adoption is always an option. Is the emotional impact of carrying that child any worse than the emotional impact of knowing you took a life in a horrific, abdominal act?
If I were a woman, and I'm not and don't claim to be, I'd argue that being raped and impregnated is far worse on its own than the knowledge you killed what is kinda just a parasite in your body at this point (15 weeks or less) that was made without your consent. My abortion views personally is that go ahead as long as it cannot and will not survive outside the womb. That's about 24 weeks in IIRC. But those are my views not yours or a woman's. Other people have drastically different views.
good for you.
others see killing a child as killing a child, there are no exceptions.about your comfort.
I'll go with life of the mother is more important than life of the fetus (not quality of life, only if the mother's death is the other option)
