I have bad gerd, it didn’t do anything for me though.
Try lugols iodine. It wo t take it away completely but it's one component to managing. I use 1 drop in my drinking water.
Something else to look into that's largely ignored is allergies. Histamine intolerance awareness helped me. I've stopped eating leftovers and that alone has spared my stomach a lot of suffering that I used to have, I believe due to histamine buildup. If you "can eat eggs, but only like so many a week" or "dairy is fine until it's not", I highly suggest researching Histamine buildup. Jm2c
