Nasa already has this landing tech years ago, nothing elon is doing is new just old stuff rehashed when it comes to the rockets, main thing is he brought the cost down which is really useful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39cjZTCay24

Q mentioned the secret space program and i would guess all this tech has probably be designed in secret and used without anyone knowing. We had electrogravic disks in the 30s that were flown in a vacuum by Thomas Townsend Brown, then it all went quiet.
